Autism is a lifelong neurological disorder that impairs communication, behavior, learning, and social skills. It occurs in all racial, ethnic, and social groups and is four times more likely to strike boys than girls. Autism statistics show that it is reaching epidemic proportions. It appears during the first three years of life and there are no known causes or cure...YET!
